“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.” Matthew 10:34
Sometimes peace isn’t the solution; it’s the problem. Individuals are either of God (making them God’s, or gods) or they are of the devil (making them the devil’s, or devils). It’s really just that simple.
“Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?” John 10:32-36
If you are among those “unto whom the word of God came” (from John 10:35) [meaning you have received and are indwelt with the Spirit of Jesus Christ who is the Word of God (see John 1:1,14, John 14:26, John 15:7, Philippians 1:19, Romans 8:11, 1 John 5:7)], then you are a god! It is written!
“If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;” ~The Lord Jesus Christ, John 10:35
It is written! No debate!
And, just as those of us who are of God are God’s/gods, those who are of the devil are the devil’s/devils.
“Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?” John 6:70
“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.” John 8:44-45
Please, process and believe the truth. Some people are devils! No, you’re not dealing with a normal human being. In actuality, there is no such thing! Underneath the flesh (or one’s humanity) you will either find a god or a devil. PLEASE, GOVERN YOURSELF ACCORDINGLY. Needless to say, (it’s obvious, it’s a no-brainer, it is crystal clear); gods should not fellowship/have no business fellowshipping with devils!
“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” 2 Corinthians 6:14-18
Fellowship with devils often/usually leads to spiritual entanglement, or yoking, (the world calls it enmeshment) and spiritual entanglement, if not for the mercy of/deliverance by the Lord Jesus Christ, will lead to eternal damnation!
“For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.” 2 Peter 2:18-22
Like I said, sometimes relational peace isn’t the solution! Sometimes variance is the solution and relational peace is the problem!
“Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.
He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.” Matthew 10:32-38
